Job Purpose:

To oversee the inventory control function at the logistics warehouse, ensuring stock integrity, accuracy, and effective storage strategies to drive productivity and maintain appropriate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure stock accuracy and integrity are maintained to corporate demands.
  • Monitor and control gross/net stock adjustments.
  • Report results from stocktake/cycle counts (PI) to the management team.
  • Liaise with LO central FI control to ensure EU reporting is in line with Local reporting.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement of the principal inventory processes, working with the management team and departments.
  • Monitor logistics processes to ensure compliance and implement corrective measures if required.
  • Ensure daily review of Slotting effectiveness.
  • Develop, optimize, maintain, and review warehouse set up, recommending changes as needed.
  • Work with the management team to identify and understand inbound and outbound demands for both productivity and customer requirements for slotting.
  • Identify changes and improvements to drive productivity and quality, and upkeep of SAP system records and functionality.
  • Coordinate and test projects, and communicate with the LO team.
  • Lead the team to achieve high standards of performance, coaching, and mentoring individuals, and identifying development needs and succession planning.
  • Ensure the team is regularly briefed on relevant company communications and daily departmental needs to promote team effort and understanding of business needs.
  • Embed the company values into team members through reinforcement of behavior, both individually and with the team.
  • Ensure the team is working to company health and safety standards, following agreed processes.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of stock control processes and methodology.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
