OHB Italia is seeking a highly skilled AIV Manager to join its BU Telescope Department in Milano. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, and installation of remotely controlled Telescopes to support main space agencies in Space Safety activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize assembly, integration, and verification processes for telescope projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define schedules, resource allocation, and milestones.
  • Create the WBS and relevant WPD's as an input for the Project WBS/WPD.
  • Evaluate costs for the execution of all AIV activities.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage the AIV Schedule for the Project.
  • Coordinate all resources executing AIV activities in the Project.
  • Establish and implement the Resources shift-plan for the nominal and critical activities.
  • Monitor the activities progress and prepare related reports.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or comparable in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering.
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years in the domain of AIV.
  • Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
  • Fluent in spoken English and excellent written English skills are mandatory.
