Job Description

Role Summary

The Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for analyzing operational risk data and assessing the effectiveness of second-level controls. This role will involve making recommendations for improvement, tracking open anomalies, and implementing actions to close gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform second-level control reviews based on Business Unit and Support Function first-level controls
  • Make recommendations to improve the quality of the first-level control framework
  • Ensure the implementation of recommendations
  • Provide a 2nd level control assessment rating
  • Review and challenge the robustness of 1st level controls on a sample basis
  • Consolidate and provide an independent opinion on the control framework within the 2nd Level reviews
  • Propose areas for improvement
  • Track and report progress on raised actions

Requirements

  • Graduate with a Master's degree in Finance or Economics from an Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Banking
  • Previous experience in Risk Management is appreciated
  • Fluent in English
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office

About the VIE Assignment

This VIE assignment is a 12-month contract that will begin as soon as possible. The candidate will be integrated into the teams and will learn alongside experts. The role will provide opportunities for growth and development, and various opportunities may be offered at the end of the contract.
