Candidate ProfileWe seek dedicated safety professionals who are eager to advance their careers within a dynamic American multinational chemical organization. The selected candidate will assume the role of ASPP, responsible for developing safety protocols across various company operations.
Reporting to the Safety Environment Quality Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the safety team, contributing to system improvements, activity transitions, and ongoing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the company's ASPP, working alongside the RSPP to fulfill the responsibilities of the Prevention and Protection Service.
- Assist in creating the company Training Plan, ensuring timely execution and compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide essential information and training to employees as mandated by current regulations.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the safety management system in alignment with relevant legislation.
- Engage in the investigation and management of safety non-conformities, including accidents and near misses.
- Develop the Audit Plan and participate in both internal and external audit activities.
- Conduct workplace inspections to assess conditions and collaborate on improvement plans with the EHS manager.
- Identify risk factors and conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Formulate preventive and protective measures as outlined in the DVR and establish control systems for these measures.
- Draft safety procedures for various company activities.
- Assist in organizing emergency simulations and training sessions in accordance with the Internal Emergency Plan.
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, environmental, safety engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
- Experience in the ASPP role within a large, publicly traded multinational company is preferred.
- Familiarity with RIR Prevention regulations and knowledge of environmental regulations is advantageous.
- Strong team-building capabilities and the ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing projects within multi-functional teams.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

- A willingness to learn and adapt to change.
