Join our Demand Planning Team at DAB Pumps, where you will gain insights into the essential logistics processes that drive our organization. This internship will provide you with a foundational understanding of how we forecast and manage demand, as well as our warehouse inventory, while familiarizing you with the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) framework.

Your Contributions:

As an intern, you will assist team members in their daily operations, particularly in areas such as Warehouse Planning (including Safety Stock and other critical analyses), Demand and Forecast Analysis, and collaboration with our global branches.

Additionally, you will play a role in the implementation of an Advanced Planning System (APS) through the following responsibilities:

  • Conducting data analysis and reconciliation for the APS.
  • Mapping processes related to APS implementation (including BP link vs Area Manager, and ensuring accurate order entry into the system).
  • Assisting in the SIOP process implementation: managing product phase-in/phase-out across branches, and comparing forecasts against budgets.
  • Performing forecast analysis: identifying trends, significant variances, key products, and primary customers.
