We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Migration Architect, you will be responsible for leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives for our enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Strategy and Architecture

Develop and implement cloud-first strategies for our customers, leveraging AWS best practices and expertise.

Customer Engagement and Collaboration

Work closely with customers to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and non-technical needs, and provide prescriptive guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Migration Planning and Execution

Lead the assessment of customer environments, design comprehensive migration plans, and execute large-scale data center exit projects, including infrastructure, applications, and organizational readiness.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

Provide technical leadership to cross-functional delivery teams throughout the migration lifecycle, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Optimization and Innovation

Identify opportunities to improve application performance, availability, security, and cost-efficiency on AWS, and collaborate with customers to implement these improvements.

Requirements
  • Cloud Architecture and Migration Experience

Multiple years of experience in cloud architecture, migration, and application modernization, with a strong understanding of modern application architectures, including microservices, containers, and serverless.

Leadership and Collaboration

Demonstrated success leading large, complex migration and transformation projects from start to finish, with experience working directly with enterprise customers and managing CxO stakeholders.

AWS Expertise

Strong understanding of AWS services, including infrastructure, security, and landing zones, with experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial Services Industry Experience

Experience working in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and regulations.

DevOps and Automation

Expertise in DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, GenAI, and Serverless Computing, with experience in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting.
