Incident Response Associate

Job Summary

New York University is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment for our students, staff, and faculty. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Incident Response Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students with emergencies and provide support during on-call shifts
  • Liaise with campus health professionals and the Facilities Office to respond to incidents
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
  • Engage in front and back office tasks during office hours
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to students, colleagues, and visitors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or progress toward a bachelor's degree
  • Prompt and thorough communication in English
  • Clear, objective, and thorough writing skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and use Microsoft Office suite software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Experience in a school/university environment
  • Customer service and life education-oriented
