Senior Buyer

Etjca Spa Saronno is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its technical office. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reviewing purchase requests (MRP) for goods and services, ensuring technical and commercial requirements are met.
• Collaborating with internal departments (RD, production, warehouse, spare parts, and service).
• Scouting and evaluating suppliers: identifying, assessing, and selecting suppliers that meet the company's technical needs, including evaluating capacity, product quality, prices, and delivery times.
• Negotiating contracts: conducting negotiations with suppliers to secure the best prices and conditions.
• Managing supplies: monitoring and managing the flow of supplies.
• Ensuring timely and compliant delivery of materials or services.
• Preparing and sending purchase orders to suppliers and relevant departments.
• Developing the company's procurement plans to ensure timely deliveries in line with operational and project requirements.
• Monitoring supplier and procurement performance, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation in supplies.

• Knowledge of production technologies for designed components.
• Knowledge of heavy carpentry and welding.
• Market and industry knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to visit suppliers, including international travel.
• Knowledge of MRP and analysis of proposals.
• Understanding of the importance of on-time delivery and meeting deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of English, primarily written (emails).
• At least 5 years of experience in companies operating in the industrial machinery construction sector, working on a project basis.
