Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and Tableau.
- Fluency in Italian and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
