Job Responsibilities:

As a Cyber System Engineer at the Terna Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the management, operation, and maintenance of the company's central and peripheral IT and OT Security equipment and traffic security infrastructure.

You will support the management, operation, and maintenance of the group's remote access systems and safe navigation systems, as well as cyber security applications (SIEM, IAM, email protection, endpoint protection, etc.).

Additionally, you will manage the central Cyber Security systems and infrastructure and Security Platforms (servers, storage, backup, virtualisation systems, etc.).

You will also coordinate and manage the execution of projects in the Cyber sector, respecting Terna's operating procedures and standards.

Your goal will be to ensure that the central and peripheral platforms are kept up to date, and that security patches and improvements to the user experience are carried out.

Furthermore, you will manage, in collaboration with the other units involved, the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities on Cyber equipment, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the services within their sphere of competence.

Requirements:

You will need at least 5 years of experience in the field of designing, managing and operating IT and OT security infrastructure.

You should have excellent knowledge of the technologies of the main vendors of firewalling solutions (Fortinet, Checkpoint).

You should also have excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Good knowledge of Windows operating systems is a plus.

You should have good knowledge in the field of networking.

Skills in backup/restore procedures and methodologies in the field of enterprise are required.

You should also have skills in the management of storage infrastructure in the field of enterprise.

Familiarity with the preparation of technical documentation, as well as reports and viewpoint summaries to submit to Management is a requirement.
