We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive server to join our fine dining team at the Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel. As a server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their experience is nothing short of unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to provide seamless service and maintain a smooth-running operation.
  • To have an in-depth knowledge of hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures related to guest service, operations, and personal conduct.
  • To remain visible and approachable at all times, checking in with your supervisor before leaving your station or the floor for any reason.
  • To possess a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's services and facilities, enabling you to answer any questions guests may have.
  • To adhere to all reasonable work-related requests made by management, focusing on achieving complete guest satisfaction and service excellence throughout the hotel.
  • To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at your station at all times.
  • To develop a thorough knowledge of menus and beverages offered by the hotel.
  • To maintain strict security measures when entering guest rooms, respecting the privacy rights of our guests.
  • To actively participate in training meetings, continually developing professional skills and enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • To clean and break down trays in the dish area, taking note of condiments, salt, pepper, sugars, and other essential items.

Requirements:

  • A degree in tourism or hospitality is considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with mise en place techniques in à la carte restaurants and banqueting is beneficial.
  • Excellent English language skills and a second foreign language are advantageous.
  • A pleasant personality, positive attitude, strong sense of aesthetics, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate guests' needs, and work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

Compensation Package:

  • An estimated salary range of €25,000 - €35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A competitive compensation package, including service charge and tips included in the paycheck.
  • Thirteenth and fourteenth-month salary and severance payment (TFR) upon contract completion.
