About the Role

TMC is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Engineer to join our team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our Life Sciences department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative chemical processes and plants for our clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and industrial automation sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop chemical processes and plants for various industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and industrial automation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and testing to optimize process efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical specifications and manage production and plant service facilities.
  • Manage technological and plant maintenance services, including control and optimization of plants and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
Requirements
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process engineering and development.
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD tools, such as PTC Creo, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, Inventor, etc.
  • Proficiency in software such as Aspen Plus/Hysys, Matlab, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
