We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Università di Pisa. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, fabricating, and testing reconfigurable meta surfaces for space applications.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in electronics, telecommunications, physics, and materials science.
- Design and fabricate reconfigurable meta surfaces using state-of-the-art micro- and nanofabrication techniques.
- Perform experimental validation and evaluate the performance of these meta surfaces under space-relevant conditions.
- Publish research findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences.
- PhD or a minimum of 3 years of research experience in areas such as optics and photonics, lithography (hard and soft), nano- and microstructure fabrication, or material deposition via physical vapor techniques.
- Strong background in micro- and nanotechnologies, with a specific focus on photonics.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills.
