Financial Controller for Lifestyle Design

Our ongoing mission to elevate excellence into a cohesive entity, leading the premium furniture industry on a global scale, began in 2014 with the acquisition of Poltrona Frau Group by Haworth. Lifestyle Design now encompasses a federation of 10 prestigious brands, including Poltrona Frau, Cassina, Cappellini, Ceccotti Collezioni, Karakter, Luminaire, Janus et Cie, Luxury Living Group, Interni, and Zanotta, employing a diverse workforce worldwide. We operate across more than 75 countries, featuring 80 showrooms, and supporting over 1,600 users globally, with 4 data centers and more than 200 servers.
Position Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Finance Controller to enhance our vibrant team. The Finance Controller will be instrumental in safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization, overseeing budget formulation, ensuring the achievement of financial objectives, mitigating adverse variances, providing fiscal counsel, ensuring compliance, and spearheading the financial reporting process. The ideal candidate will possess a robust finance background, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a demonstrated history of effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate and scrutinize precise and timely financial documents, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Perform variance analysis and deliver insights to senior management for informed decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting: Direct the budgeting and forecasting initiatives, collaborating closely with departmental leaders. Assess budget performance and furnish regular variance reports. Develop and sustain financial models to facilitate budgeting and forecasting tasks. Cash Flow Management: Oversee and manage cash flow to enhance working capital efficiency. Financial Planning: Offer financial insights to align with the organization's objectives. Partner with senior management on financial planning, strategic business initiatives, and investment choices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is advantageous. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role, ideally within the industry. Comprehensive understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
