Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Energy Engineer to join our MEP team in Arup's Milan office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, developing energy and carbon strategies, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, to meet energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
  • Develop and implement energy and carbon strategies for Science, Industry, and Technology projects, with a focus on reducing environmental impact.
  • Liaise with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to set project constraints and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Act as project lead engineer and interface with clients to ensure project success.
  • Manage small project teams and provide technical guidance and support.

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering and energy/carbon fundamentals.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Building, or Energy Engineering.
  • Confirmed experience in designing mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
