Healthcare Informatics Specialist

Job Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing support and resolving escalated cases in Radiology Informatics systems in Europe.

Your Role:

  • You will work with innovative software solutions in Radiology Informatics, resolving technical barriers that are critical to improving patient diagnosis and saving lives. You will utilize your technical and analytical skills to troubleshoot informatics solutions at any level (HW, SW, Database, Network).
  • In this collaborative and customer-oriented role, you will work directly with our customers in Europe to solve technical issues based on escalated cases, collaborating with our Customer Service organization and working with R&D teams to improve solutions.
  • This role offers you the opportunity to be part of a highly competent European Customer Service team, responsible for Europe HCIS (Healthcare Information Solutions) Incident and Problem Management, based in our Informatics Hub in Genoa.

You're the Right Fit If:

  • You have a Master or Bachelor degree in Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
  • You have acquired 2-3 years of experience in Informatics, especially as a systems administrator.
  • Your skills include knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including Servers, Storage Appliances, Network Appliances, Security Appliances, and related technologies.
  • Additional skills and experiences with Database (Oracle/SQL), Microsoft 2012/2016/2019 Server, Hyper-V technologies, and IT-related medical standards, such as DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7), and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), are valued.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and are passionate about customer success and problem-solving.
