This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to our success. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in optimizing our inventory levels and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review supply parameters, including MOQ, lead-time, schedules, and supplier constraints, to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Manage daily relationships with suppliers, negotiating and optimizing order proposals, and chasing open orders with past delivery dates.
- Monitor and control supplier service levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Work closely with demand planners to address stock gaps and optimize inventory levels.
- Develop and share purchase forecasts with supply stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Analyze KPIs and root causes to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance service levels and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge, with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of supply planning parameters and their influence on inventory levels.
- Ability to work with APS systems on a daily basis, interpreting data and making informed decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and functions.
