Rural Institutions and Farmers Organizations Expert

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is seeking qualified experts to join its rural institutions and farmers organizations consultant roster. This roster will be used to identify experts who can provide technical guidance and support to IFAD staff and projects in the areas of rural institutions and farmers organizations development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and support to IFAD staff and projects in the areas of rural institutions and farmers organizations development.
- Conduct institutional assessments and develop technical guidance documents for IFAD projects and programs.
- Support the development of partnerships between IFAD and farmers organizations and other stakeholders.
- Provide expertise in the areas of rural institutions and farmers organizations development, including capacity building, institutional strengthening, and policy engagement.
- Advanced university degree in a field related to rural development, agricultural economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in rural development, agricultural economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing technical guidance and support to projects and programs in the areas of rural institutions and farmers organizations development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English is mandatory. Additionally, fluency in French, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese may be required depending on the geographic area where the assignments of the consultants will be focused.
