We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Manager to join our Front Office team at Splendido Mare, a luxury hotel in the heart of the Italian Riviera. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations in the Front Office department.
Main Responsibilities:- Greeting and Check-in/Check-out: Greet guests upon arrival, ensure efficient and friendly check-in and check-out processes, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities.
- Rooming and Guest Services: Room guests, answer inquiries, and provide information about the hotel and local area to guests.
- Special Requests and Communication: Organize special requests, communicate with all departments to ensure guests receive the highest standard of service, and implement Leading Quality Assurance Standards.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Support, train, and supervise Front Office staff, maintain working relationships, and communicate with all departments.
- Workload Management: Supervise workload during shifts, allocate guest rooms according to reservation requests and guest needs, and verify accurate room status information.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously, and conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the Front Office team.
- Revenue Maximization: Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily, and ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
- Front Office Operations: Operate all aspects of Front Office computer systems, ensure timely and professional responses to messages and emails, and monitor V.I.P guests and special requests.
- Reporting and Documentation: Review daily Front Office work and activity reports, review Front Office log book and guest feedback, and maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system.
- Experience: At least 5 years of previous professional experience in a similar role, preferably at an international level.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Italian, with a third language required.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Hotel Management software and Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
- Drive Results: Provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues.
