Job Overview:This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to property management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in receiving and processing deliveries of mission supplies
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks on United Nations property to ensure accurate inventory and serviceable condition
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and providers of services to maintain accurate property records
- Prepare and submit analytical reports on acquired property, discrepancies, and disposal
As a Property Management Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our global assets. You will work closely with our team to provide timely and efficient support in maintaining accurate property records, conducting regular inspections, and preparing reports.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in property management or fixed asset management desirable
- A minimum of seven years of experience in property management, inventory control, logistics, or related fields; five years for candidates with a first-level university degree or higher
- Experience working with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or similar systems, related to property and asset management
- Expert knowledge of electronic inventory applications and accounting practices
