As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and improving business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement Strategies: Collaborate with the Management Team and key business stakeholders to design and implement robust continuous improvement strategies that drive positive change and impact safety, quality, reliability, and engagement.
- Lead CI Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to colleagues on CI methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM, to stimulate and institutionalize CI initiatives.
- Promote Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving: Foster a culture of root cause analysis and problem-solving within daily shop/unit management, sharing and institutionalizing best practices across Production Units.
- Identify Business Improvement Opportunities: Support activities on Value Stream Mapping to identify opportunities and lead Kaizen Events to turn these opportunities into reality.
- Lead Improvement Initiatives: Organize and lead Kaizen events, such as 5S, Re-layout, SMED, poka-yoke, Levelling, Process Improvements, Simplifications, and Visual Management, to drive business improvement.
- Provide Project Management and Analytical Skills: Utilize project management, analytical, and research skills to drive business improvement initiatives.
- Develop and Implement Leader Standard Work: Develop and implement Leader Standard Work at all levels, leading by example.
- Prepare CI Reviews: Prepare and present CI reviews to site and business leaders.
- Strong Knowledge of CI Methodologies: Solid knowledge of and proven experience in the development, training, and execution of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, etc.
- Operations Experience: Robust experience in an operations/manufacturing environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory standards ISO 9001/2015 and ISO/TS 16949.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong relationship and leadership skills as a change agent with resistance and persistence skills, able to influence, motivate, and work effectively within a matrix environment.
- Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Established analytical and quantitative ability, including data mining and data crunching.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP, Minitab, eVSM, etc.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English.
- Education: 3+ years of operations experience with lean experience in a manufacturing environment and a university degree or master's degree in a technical field or business/management.
- Chemical or Compounding Experience: Previous experience in chemical or compounding companies.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
