Reporting directly to the Product Planning Manager, the Assistant Manager for Purpose Built Vehicles will play a pivotal role in the Product Planning team, focusing on the launch of Purpose Built Vehicles (PBVs). This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for PBVs, collaborating on new product launches, and ensuring effective cross-functional implementation of plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new business areas for PBVs, establishing milestones, and engaging stakeholders to enhance local processes.
- Contributing to the PBV Launch Plan and collaborating with the Product Team for seamless execution.
- Collecting and analyzing data from headquarters and internal processes related to PBVs.
- Utilizing research and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, analyzing industry trends, and proposing actionable solutions.
- Managing partnerships with third parties to enhance local competitiveness and identify new opportunities.
- Supporting pricing strategies by analyzing costs and competitive landscapes, assessing profitability, and creating price lists.
- Positioning products effectively in the market, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and competitive analysis.
- Developing advertising strategies that highlight unique selling points and create cohesive messaging for customers.
- Overseeing the ordering process to align with product strategy and economic outcomes.
- Managing in-life product performance and the product improvement lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
- Handling operational tasks such as product code creation, system setup, and pricing simulations.
Required Qualifications:
- A university degree, preferably in Economics or Engineering.
- Experience in the Light Commercial Vehicles or Automotive sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the automotive industry, particularly in relation to cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). A strong analytical background, attention to detail, proactivity, and a curious mindset are essential.
A positive attitude towards improving processes, along with strong goal orientation, teamwork, communication, public speaking, reliability, and organizational skills, are crucial for success in this role.
Contractual grade: First Level CCNL or above.
