Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Specialist to join our team in Milan. The successful candidate will be responsible for software validation of the Hybris e-commerce platform for all AS Watson Group Business Units across Europe. The role will involve ensuring a high-quality service to clients through thorough testing of new releases and fixes as part of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform and drive release validation in test environments
  2. Prepare, review, and execute test cases
  3. Estimate and plan test activities and efforts
  4. Manage release validation in integrated systems environments, supporting the acceptance stage with business units
  5. Inform QA Lead about issues and priorities
  6. Provide input and assistance to the development team to identify and resolve defects
  7. Produce reports on QA activities
  8. Coordinate QA teams
  9. Travel across Europe as required
  10. Define, monitor, and control KPIs

Requirements

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies, Data Science, Data Analysis, e-commerce, or a related field
  2. 4+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in retail or consulting
  3. Knowledge of e-commerce, desktop, and mobile testing, multichannel, and/or digital application systems. Knowledge and experience with Hybris is an advantage
  4. Experience in manual/automated/API testing
  5. Fluent in Italian, with English as a must
  6. Proactive with high attention to detail
  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  8. Ability to mentor and guide junior QA team members
  9. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency
