Master Tooling Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Master Tooling Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly. This position requires a high degree of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team at Jet2 Limited. As a Master Tooling Coordinator, you will be responsible for taking ownership of tooling operations and ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance and ensuring any potential defective tooling is dispatched for repair or calibration.
• Take a proactive approach to ensure service levels are kept to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions in a diligent manner.
• Liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers.
• Ensure relevant Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins are actioned appropriately.
• Uphold the Tooling department's mission statement of 'Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time'.

Requirements:

• Excellent organisation and communication skills, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment is maintained.
• Experience of working with tooling equipment and a good understanding of the aviation sector.
• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes.
• A proactive and pragmatic approach, as well as the ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Possess a continuous improvement mindset.
• Be flexible and willing to support the needs of the operation.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Hold a full UK driving license.

Work-Life Balance:

After a period of training, it is expected that the Master Tooling Coordinator will work on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.
