Senior Digital Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Transformation Specialist to join our Partnerships Coordination Service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the design and implementation of a digital transformation project in the World Food Programme.

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Digital Transformation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the technical analysis of digital interventions and working closely with stakeholders to design a WFP Partnerships function digital ecosystem. You will develop a workplan for the project team and key stakeholders, manage team resources, and facilitate workshops on complex problems and solutions between the systems team and end users.
Responsibilities- Lead project technical vision and roadmap: Develop a clear understanding of the WFP Partnerships function's digital transformation needs and create a comprehensive roadmap for implementation.
- Analyze complex issues in existing processes and solutions: Identify areas for improvement and provide critical input to the programme for new process design, methodology, and technology.
- Design solutions based on Palantir Foundry, Tableau, and other relevant platforms: Collaborate with TEC teams to develop and implement solutions that meet the Partnerships function's needs.
- Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with the Partnerships business owners to define what data is needed to support business processes and ensure data is cleaned, integrated, and analyzed.
- Present and report to senior management: Regularly present and report on the project's progress to senior management in HQ.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Management, Statistics, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in digital transformation or innovative tech, including experience managing people, budgets, and projects.
- Strong project management skills, particularly agile methodologies.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and Tableau, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in multicultural and multi-ethnic environments.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. The World Food Programme offers a competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
