Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and innovative Embedded Software Developer to join our dynamic team in the automotive sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining firmware for embedded systems that drive our advanced automotive technologies.

You will design, develop, and optimize firmware to ensure high performance, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Firmware Development: Design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems in automotive applications, ensuring it meets stringent performance and quality standards.
  • Integration & Troubleshooting: Integrate firmware with both hardware and software systems, efficiently troubleshooting and optimizing for reliable and consistent operation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure that specifications and technical requirements are aligned, solving complex technical challenges as they arise.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for firmware, including design manuals, integration processes, and test reports to support ongoing development and maintenance.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Professional Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the automotive industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C and C++, particularly for firmware development.
  • Experience with embedded system development and debugging tools.
  • Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures and communication protocols commonly used in automotive systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, is a plus.
