We are seeking a highly skilled Service Workshop Manager - Medium Voltage to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for leading the Medium Voltage Electrification Service production team to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading the Medium Voltage Electrification Service production team to ensure achievement of safety, revenue, on-time delivery, OPEX, quality, and cost reduction targets.
• Preparing and overseeing the annual production budget, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensuring all staff understand and adhere to ABB's core values, group safety and integrity standards, and HSE processes.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with employees, exercising leadership and promoting teamwork, engagement, and accountability.
• Evaluating and establishing workforce needs, ensuring resources for supervising the training of new and existing employees.
Requirements
• Degree/Diploma in engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience working in Operations functions, preferably in leadership roles or experience in people management.
• Knowledge of Lean production and continuous improvement principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and SAP.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
