About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Rdcom, an international player in business messaging solutions. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure and internal equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure software and hardware to ensure seamless system performance
  • Manage network servers and technology tools to maintain optimal network security
  • Set up accounts and workstations to ensure efficient access and productivity
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements to prevent downtime
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages to ensure minimal disruption to our operations
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls to protect our systems and data
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models to stay ahead of the curve
Cyber Security Tasks
  • Manage and enhance firewalls security policies, including revisiting and implementing IDS/IPS rules based on log data analysis
  • Perform, report, and evaluate Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and Cyber Security threat analysis to identify potential risks
  • Review devices (Laptop and smartphone) security policies, including revising security policies on related OS (Windows, Linux, MacOSX)
  • Manage security and antivirus policies (Sophos) to ensure comprehensive protection
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • Linux and Windows-based operating systems management and testing
  • Knowledge of networks and firewalls, as well as main protocols for IT security management
  • Experience working with virtualised solutions such as VMWare, Proxmox
  • Good knowledge of English
Preferred Skills
  • At least 3 years' experience in the role
  • Relational and non-relational database management skills such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Understanding of networking (segmentation, routing, protocols, etc.), OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements
