At Atir, we're seeking a highly skilled Photovoltaic Technical Director to lead our solar energy development projects from planning to commissioning and ongoing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical design of photovoltaic systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Lead technical and economic feasibility assessments of photovoltaic projects, including performance analysis and risk assessment.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Supervise installation and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify project opportunities and contribute technical and engineering information for commercial proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the photovoltaic energy industry, with proven experience in the development and execution of large-scale photovoltaic projects.
- Deep knowledge of design, engineering, and operation principles of photovoltaic systems, as well as associated technologies and equipment.
- Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Knowledge of safety and quality regulations and standards applicable to photovoltaic systems.
- Fluency in English and Italian both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
- Availability to travel as required by project needs.
