Thundersoft Europe is seeking a skilled Wireless Test Engineer to join our team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our telecommunications team, you will be responsible for testing smartphones and cellular networks in the field using various testing tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct manual testing of smartphones and cellular networks in the field.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot issues with mobile devices and network connectivity.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify, report, and verify issues.
  • Report daily on project progress.
  • Perform testing on various cellular technologies such as 4G, LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
  • Use testing tools such as QXDM and ELT to collect and analyse network logs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 6 months - 1 year of experience in manual testing of smartphones and cellular networks.
  • Strong understanding of 4G, LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Handover, Redirection, Reselection.
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as QXDM and ELT.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues with mobile devices and network connectivity.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate testing results and feedback clearly and concisely to team members.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • English B2, Italian, Chinese.
