Food Safety Executive

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Executive to join our team at Kraft Heinz. This role will be based in Latina and will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across our operations.
">About the PositionThe ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology or Engineering. They will be responsible for leading the quality process, product improvements, and supporting R&D and procurement for new projects implementation.
As a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance, you will ensure good manufacturing practices are implemented and adhered to, and adequate controls are in place to prevent serious incidents, withdrawals, or recalls.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Ensure all traceability data from raw material to finished product is guaranteed.
- Implement, maintain, and evaluate cleaning & sanitation operating procedures and training that meets Kraft Heinz requirements.
- Manage the budget of quality package and the central laboratory.
- Promote root cause analysis to solve issues.
- Support Engineering and R&D in development projects.
You will also be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers of raw material and packaging material, reducing supply chain quality losses, and participating in daily meetings and cross-functional meetings.
In this role, you will work closely with internal senior stakeholders, including the Director FSQ Europe, Gerard van de Schepop, and contribute to the company's goal of being a global food company with a delicious heritage.
Qualifications and Requirements- A master's degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, or Engineering.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
