We are in search of a Systems Integration Engineer.

The Systems Integration Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the harmonious interaction of all components and subsystems within a product as defined by the product architects. This includes the design, testing, and implementation of the integration of hardware and software elements, alongside troubleshooting and resolving any challenges that may arise during the integration process.

Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with various teams such as engineering disciplines, manufacturing, and quality assurance to guarantee that the final product adheres to the established requirements, specifications, and standards.

This role often necessitates the integration of both hardware and software components to ensure seamless functionality. About the Team

The Systems Integration team is a newly formed group, currently seeking to fill several open positions. Contribute to shaping and establishing our operational approach within the organization by bringing fresh perspectives and innovative concepts that foster effective problem-solving.

The Systems Integration team is part of the Development Centre for Video Systems, which is responsible for developing state-of-the-art video systems that integrate audio and video functionalities, including software-enabled user interfaces. Recent product launches include advanced video bars and audio solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering and analyzing requirements for the entire system/product.
  • Creating prototype setups to validate architectural decisions or explore new directions in collaboration with product architects.
  • Documenting and organizing requirements to ensure clarity and traceability towards the system/product test plan.
  • Managing changes to requirements and assessing their impact on the system.
  • Creating and maintaining system and product specifications to ensure alignment with the product's design and functionality throughout its lifecycle.
  • Contributing to the system test strategy to ensure comprehensive test coverage of system and product specifications.
  • Collaborating with external partners and internal engineering teams to meet integration requirements and ensure the final product meets customer expectations.
  • Participating in design reviews and providing insights on integration considerations.
  • Reviewing testing and validation of subsystems to ensure compatibility and functionality.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders to clarify and validate requirements, addressing any conflicts or inconsistencies.
  • Supporting manufacturing and production teams in implementing integrated systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to system integration.

  • (Senior) capability to take initiative and guide integration efforts, along with mentoring junior team members.
  • An understanding of system/product (software) architectures, design, and integration principles.
  • Robust technical expertise in areas such as real-time hardware, software, audio, video, or their interfaces.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence in products is preferred.
