Project Manager

Our client, a leading Independent Power Producer of photovoltaic Renewable Energy, is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join their team in Rome. As a key member of the business development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing utility-scale photovoltaic power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies, including land constraints analysis and preliminary design
• Design, review, and optimize raw land and utility-scale photovoltaic power plants
• Develop final layouts, structural drawings, and electrical schematics for PV fields and connection infrastructures
• Collaborate with advisors, developers, sales/construction teams, and other staff to optimize design decisions and yield
• Review design documents from third parties for efficacy, feasibility, accuracy, consistency, and fidelity to contracts and expected yield

Requirements:

• Engineering degree
• Proficiency in Autocad, Microsoft Excel, QGis, and PVSyst
• Minimum 3 years of experience in utility-scale raw land PV plants design and connection infrastructure design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Superior organizational skills, executive-level reporting, timely action, and decision-making in time-pressured scenarios

Language: English is essential, and fluency in French is an asset.
