SHE Specialist

In this role, we are seeking an experienced SHE Specialist to join our team at Ecolab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and environmental principles and practices, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective safety and environmental management systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable national regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize SHE risk within the location, working closely with functional teams to reduce risks in operational activities.
- Investigate and resolve SHE incidents and near misses, and monitor and track corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop and maintain SHE systems and procedures, including risk assessments and operating procedures.
- Provide advice and support to all staff on SHE matters, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Collaborate with the SHE team to develop and implement SHE initiatives and programs, and to achieve and maintain SHE goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards, and implement these in our operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as safety or environmental engineering.
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Proven experience in a similar SHE role, with a strong understanding of operating within a COMAH regulated site.
- Strong team orientation, self-starter and highly motivated individual.
