We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator Expert in Windows & Linux to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing Linux servers, including Debian, Ubuntu, and Redhat distributions, as well as Windows servers and Active Directory.
Main Responsibilities:
- Advanced skills in managing Linux servers, including Debian, Ubuntu, and Redhat distributions.
- Experience in managing standalone Windows servers and Active Directory.
- Oversight of corporate IT assets, including laptops, smartphones, and other devices.
- Configure switches and access points with VLAN or 802.1x implementation.
- Configuring LTE routers.
- Implementation of firewall configurations.
- Administration of network services such as DNS, DHCP, Certification Authority, and VPN servers.
- Provide system support to the development team.
- Conducting Vulnerability Assessments.
- Patching and maintaining system security.
- Vulnerability reporting.
- IT support to the installation team of our monitoring solutions.
- Troubleshooting network issues.
- Development and implementation of bash scripts.
Requirements:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems and LAN/VPN network issues.
- Advanced skills in Windows systems.
- Fluent knowledge of Italian and English.
Plus:
- Knowledge of virtualization environments.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker or equivalent.
