Vestas is a global leader in wind power control and data analysis systems, and we are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer - Wind Power Control to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in wind farms, as well as platform troubleshooting, server hardware and software. Additionally, they will provide remote support to service technicians in on-site operations and maintain internal ticketing tools.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of wind farm SCADA and IT systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with server hardware and software, as well as network configurations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients to provide high-quality support and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in server operating systems, Linux, and SQL servers
  • Experience with VMware and PLC programming
  • Knowledge of networking and communication protocols (IEC, MODBUS, DNP, OPC)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
