Senior Electronic Designer

Adecco Italia S.p.a. is seeking a Senior Electronic Designer for a direct placement at an innovative company in the bio-robotics sector based in Pisa.

The ideal candidate will be part of the R&D team, reporting to the Lead Electronic Engineer, and will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Implement and verify electronic hardware for medical robots and their components.
  • Report progress and milestones relative to the overall development project.
  • Design and development of complex electronic boards, embedding motor drivers and sensors.
  • Contribute to multiple areas of electronic development, including:
    • Managing the electronic labs
    • Operating electronic measurement equipment
    • Developing firmware
    • Coordinating the procurements of components and external services

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineer
  • Professional background in robotics and automation industry designing electrical systems for actuation of motors and sensing
  • Experience designing complex printed circuit boards (PCB)
  • Knowledge of power electronics, driver for electric motor control, signal amp and sensors acquisition
  • Experience selecting and integrating off-the-shelf components
  • Professional use of CAD systems (Altium preferred)
  • Strong ability to isolate and debug embedded hardware problems
  • Comfortable with all phases of the product development lifecycle
  • Strong inter-disciplinary understanding of mechanics, manufacturing, control and software
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Professional written and spoken English (C1)
  • Experience in electronic design and development accordingly with medical device ISO regulation is a plus
