About the Role

This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is part of the Robotics and Discrete Automation Division in Sesto San Giovanni (MI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
  • Create and analyze mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings for manufacturing.
  • Conduct simulations and tests to verify the functionality and safety of designs.
  • Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
  • Utilize checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer.
  • Qualified in using AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
  • Enhanced knowledge of Inventor and FEM. Familiarity with PDM and PLM software will be considered a plus.
  • Creative and proactive approach; passionate about working in a team.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel.
