Project Manager for Network Integration and Infrastructure Upgrade

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee network integration and infrastructure upgrade projects across retail stores in Europe. This role will focus on managing the setup, alignment, and enhancement of existing and new retail points of sale, ensuring that they meet the evolving standards of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end management of retail store projects, including both upgrades to existing sites and the setup of new locations.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including local providers, construction teams, and internal departments responsible for different aspects of the store setup.
  • Handle any issues that arise, ensuring timely resolution or escalation as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to the Principal Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring the timely delivery of services such as internet lines, hardware installations, and other infrastructure requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, ideally within the retail sector, involving both existing site upgrades and new store setups.
  • Familiarity with the operational needs of retail environments, particularly in relation to network infrastructure, telecoms, and other technical elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including external vendors, local contractors, and internal business units.
  • Understanding of network setups, IT infrastructure, and relevant retail technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required.

This role will require to work onsite in Milan at least once per week (unless otherwise agreed). The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and will drive project execution from planning to completion.
