About the Role

As a Senior Equipment Safety Expert at Amazon, you will play a key role in driving improvements in our operations. You will be responsible for managing health and safety standards, improving functionality and efficiency, and supervising your team to ensure they are implementing changes in response to employee feedback or seizing opportunities to continuously make process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage your programmes, whilst regularly collaborating with other teams and stakeholders across the company
Use internal reporting tools to analyse data reports and root causes that provide leadership with the information they need to make safety related decisions
Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies
Drive programmes to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon
Above-average willingness to travel within the covered region

About the Team

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) plays a crucial role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. Our team works with managers, associates and local governments across our sites, making sure we're complying with Amazon's policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for managing health and safety standards, improving functionality and efficiency, and supervising your team to ensure they are implementing changes in response to employee feedback or seizing opportunities to continuously make process improvements. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies, and driving programmes to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within Amazon.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about health and safety. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and policies, and be able to provide guidance and support to your team members.
