Syneos Health is a leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization that accelerates customer success. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Editor to join our team, responsible for quality control review of clinical documents intended for submission to health authorities worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical document QC, copyediting, and formatting, with a strong understanding of FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines and industry standards. They will work closely with study teams and cross-departmental project teams to ensure that documents meet or exceed sponsor and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality control review of clinical documents, including clinical protocols, clinical study reports, and investigator's brochures
  • Copyediting, formatting, and verifying data content in clinical documents
  • Maintaining familiarity with FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines and industry standards
  • Representing the editorial group in Medical Writing, on study teams, and in cross-departmental project teams
  • Monitoring timelines and budgets for assigned projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical sciences, or English/journalism
  • Significant relevant publishing experience using Adobe Acrobat or other markup language
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail, copyediting, data integrity review, accuracy, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, presentation, project management, and team-oriented skills
