Vestas Development is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our Global Development team in the EMEA division. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal support for our renewable energy projects in the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal expertise on wind farm development, including energy regulatory laws, permits, property law, and project agreements.
- Support the development team in reviewing country-specific regulatory regimes to ensure compliance with local laws.
- Review and negotiate land lease contracts, permits, and concessions related to wind turbines and electrical infrastructure.
- Engage with external lawyers and manage project risks and liability issues.
- Bachelor's degree in law from an Italian university and a Master's degree required for the Italian bar exam.
- At least 3 years of experience practicing law in the renewable energy industry, preferably with a focus on renewable energy operators or law firms.
- Proficiency in Italian and English, with Spanish a valuable asset.
