Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and migrating complex solutions based on RedHat OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Build Cloud Solutions
    • Design and build complex solutions based on RedHat OpenShift.
    • Utilize cloud-native tools and services to design, build, and deploy new applications based on given requirements.
  • Evaluate and Recommend Cloud Solutions
    • Evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications to OpenShift, aligning business objectives with application/architecture requirements.
    • Evaluate and select appropriate OpenShift deployment options: On-premise vs. cloud, centralized data center vs. edge, designing & building for DevSecOps on OpenShift architectures, including monitoring, logging, and metrics.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Act as the single point of contact for DXC and the Client.
    • Provide best practice guidance on architectural design across multiple applications and projects within the enterprise.
    • Collaborate across multiple industry teams and build for re-use across them.
  • Manage Client Relationships
    • Effectively manage client relationships and demonstrate leadership in client conversations to develop long-term opportunities.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise
    • Deep experience in major public cloud, Digital transformation platform/products/services.
    • Highly technical and analytical skills, with significant experience in IT implementation.
  • Cloud Architecture Experience
    • 2 or more years of hands-on experience designing and deploying OpenShift based architectures.
    • Familiarity with RedHat technologies, including Ansible and RH Application runtimes.
    • RedHat certifications are a plus.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills
    • Experience in setting up and leading application development teams using containers (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).

Work Environment

Rome with remote work possibility.
