API Inspector Specialist

Our client, a leading industry player in the region near Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an experienced API Inspector to join their team. As an API Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and PSV's across the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and PSV's to ensure compliance with established laws, codes, standards, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain written inspection procedures, guidelines, and work instructions to support the inspection department.
• Identify compliance and inspection gaps, report findings, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support routine maintenance, unit shutdowns, and turnarounds by providing inspection expertise.
• Collaborate with the safety and PSM teams to participate in MOC departmental reviews and PSSRs.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as an API inspector in a refinery or chemical plant.
• Hold API 510 and 653 or 570 certifications.
• Possess practical knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel and Piping Codes.
• Be able to climb high structures, enter vessels, and navigate confined spaces with ease.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 per year, with a bonus of 7-10% based on performance. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with match, generous PTO, and sick leave.
