Job SummaryThis strategic role involves leading the IT applications team, providing guidance, and driving the development of our applications portfolio.
You will be responsible for selecting, implementing, and maintaining software applications that meet business needs and align with our company's objectives.
Collaboration with stakeholders is key to this role, requiring you to understand their application needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Our ideal candidate will ensure all applications operate efficiently, are regularly updated, and meet rigorous security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IT applications team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
- Select, implement, and maintain software applications to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their application needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Ensure all applications operate efficiently, are regularly updated, and meet security and compliance standards
- Develop and implement effective IT organizational designs to support the business
- Determine capital investment parameters, priorities, and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or informatics
- Previous experience in a leadership role and similar position
- In-depth knowledge of IT application management best practices
- Training and experience in business processes to support business services in ERP, CRM, PLM, BI, AI
- Experience in business process engineering, business process design combined with data analytics, data modelling, and data design
- Knowledge in business automation as well as application harmonization
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English, German, and/or Italian
