Project Manager

Thales Alenia Space is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Torino, Italy. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the full project team and interfacing with agencies and customers. You will have peculiar communication skills, decision-making attitude, and assertive and innovative approach for problem resolution. You will be inclined to team working and have attention to schedule and economic financial aspects, as well as building trust and reliability with customers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale projects with wide complexity. You will have relevant experience in risk identification and management, and be able to develop and implement detailed project plans to monitor and track project performances. You will also be proficient in ensuring on-time deliverables by ensuring effective coordination of project team resources and identifying areas of weakness and criticalities.

Key duties include:

  • Coordinating the project team for all aspects, granting team working
  • Managing customer interfaces, building trust and comms with customer
  • Managing the assigned budget in terms of Cost and Schedule Control of the Programs
  • Managing the Project, in particular those actions decided within the Monthly Programs Reviews
  • Supporting Projects requests in terms of resources adequacy and managing intraDomain mobility of work and/or resources
  • Managing the program resources in accordance with the approved commercial scenario
  • Managing bid/changes and/or project stakeholders, including those belonging to other Domains or Competence Centers
  • Coordinating the project team in difficult situations or crisis in order to reach a recovery plan
  • Controlling CBB/EAC and cash flow in coordination with the Finance Controller
  • Managing Risks & Opportunities
  • Preparing Monthly Progress reports with program core team and interfacing with Customer for clarification aspects if requested
  • Preparing internal Company monthly Dashboard jointly with CFO
