Role Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical systems for McPhy's hydrogen production equipment. This includes carrying out mechanical studies of electrolyzer products, optimizing integrations from a safety, manufacturing, operations, and maintenance point of view, and drawing up plans for assembly lines of sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical studies of electrolyzer products, including mechanically dimensioning packaging structures and optimizing integrations.
  • Draw up plans for assembly lines of sub-assemblies and integrate and verify detailed studies at the product/system level.
  • Track mechanical requirements of sub-assemblies from the system/product specification and manage the subcontracting of studies and realizations.
  • Organize and lead technical meetings on the mechanical part and provide the necessary information to monitor the work done and the remaining work to be done.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (or university degree) specializing in mechanics.
  • Previous experience in mechanical design, ideally in special machines.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks and EPDM, as well as office automation tools (Ms Office).
  • Ability to analyze technical documents for gas and electrical processes and knowledge of process equipment.

Working Conditions:

Contract type: permanent contract, full time, C3 level of Industria Metalmeccanica CCNL. Location: San Miniato (PI) - smart working 40-60. Remuneration: € + production bonus + profit sharing.
