Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller Specialist to join our team at Sky. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our Entertainment area, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the acquisition of rights for Sky Branded Channels, including scripted and unscripted productions.
  • Update our database to reflect the latest developments in negotiations with local and international distribution players.
  • Monitor and approve the budget assigned to the business, as well as TV rights acquisition contracts.
  • Oversee month-end closings, channel actuals, and KPIs, and perform variance analysis.
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis on costs and performance in the area.
  • Support the editorial team in evaluating new negotiations.
Requirements
  • A structured approach to work with excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Excel and PPT).
