About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GL Accountant to join our Financial Service Center in Greece.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities and supervise general accounting and related reconciliations and balances.
  • Supervise intercompany transactions and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Support all Italian Imerys entities in archiving and administrative activities.
  • Supervise the completeness and correct sending of electronic invoices.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, Conai, and Intrastat reports.
  • Participate in IT projects for the implementation and customization of SAP 4Hana.

Requirements

  • Accounting diploma or degree in economics.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a modernly structured company.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with French being a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Knowledge of SAP is mandatory, with JDE being a plus.
