Job Summary:
Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineering Planner to join our team. As a Project Engineering Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the project team in the analysis of the scope of work, definition of the Work Breakdown Structure, and development of an integrated Engineering master schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project team in the analysis of the scope of work and definition of the Work Breakdown Structure.
- Develop an integrated Engineering master schedule across all functions involved with milestones, deliverables, resources, etc. to monitor the Engineering milestones.
- Identify critical project paths and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support the Chief Engineer/Project Engineer in the coordination of Design Review internally and with the Customer.
- Support the preparation of reports on project progress and information prospects concerning budget control analysis.
- Manage communication and reporting towards project team and stakeholders.
- Work in relation to Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Testing Departments.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in performing similar tasks.
- Availability for domestic and overseas trips.
- Good knowledge of Office suite.
- Attitude to work under pressure.
- Team-working attitude.
- Result orientation, dynamism, and proactivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coming from a mechanical sector and knowledge of the software SAP R3 and MS Project and P6 Primavera.
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Management).
- Knowledge of written and spoken English at least B2/C1 level.
